  • Lost all credibility

This used to be one of my favorite beauty podcasts. Interesting discussions with interviews with smart, credible people. Until that is, giving airtime to the EWG! A group that has almost single handedly caused the most fear amongst beauty consumers and consistently sprouted fake and misinformation. No real beauty lover or expert would ever promote this group.

Gold Infused Skincare Ft. Lejla Cas of KNESKO Skin
Q: How does the GP8X technology work on the skin and what does the acronym mean?
GP8X stands for Gold Peptide Energy Exchange System, combining gold, active peptides, plant stem cells, and pro-collagen supporting actives to stabilize and deliver signaling peptides more effectively, resulting in improved firmness, elasticity, and overall skin response.
From Anti-Aging to Longevity Thinking with Amitay and Anastasia of Young Goose Skincare
Q: What is protocol thinking and why is it central to your approach?
Protocol thinking treats skincare as a holistic program rather than a collection of individual products; it emphasizes selecting a small number of products that address all 12 hallmarks of aging and integrate with lifestyle factors to create compounding benefits.
From Anti-Aging to Longevity Thinking with Amitay and Anastasia of Young Goose Skincare
Q: What makes Vampire Exosomes different and how do NAD+ and exosomes work together?
Vampire Exosomes deliver regenerative signaling through platelet-derived exosomes, while NAD+ provides cellular fuel to power the repair processes; together they feed both the signaling and the energy needed for cells to rebuild and reduce inflammation.
From Anti-Aging to Longevity Thinking with Amitay and Anastasia of Young Goose Skincare
Q: Could you break down the stimulus versus recovery concept for listeners?
Stimulus refers to any factor the skin encounters (sun, actives, stress) that triggers a response, while recovery is the skin's ability to repair after that stimulus; problems arise when stimulus outpaces recovery, which is why balance and timing matter.
The Truth About Regenerative Science in Skincare with Dr. Saranya Wyles of Mayo Clinic
Q: What is regenerative medicine and what baseline should consumers know before diving in?
Regenerative medicine is about the body's innate ability to heal from within and restore form and function, with a focus on achieving scarless healing and reducing fibrosis. In skincare, this translates to using a toolkit that includes grafting concepts, wound-healing matrices, platelets and growth factors, and newer modalities like exosomes, all while recognizing limitations and the difference between true regeneration and mere repair.
