  • Overall Good

As a Sixers fan living outside of Philadelphia I very much appreciate this podcast for keeping me as connected to the team as possible. The only thing I would like to see is more consistency and a higher frequency with when podcasts are released. I love Danny, Amy and and Noah they are great! Ben needs to stick to producing though the times that he has cohosted out of desperation It has not gone well lol love you guys!

  • Can you get Amy a real microphone

Her voice has much less volume than the guys

  • Noah, Danny and Berry

Danny is superior to many hosts, Devon Givens for example (straight up!). Noah Levick is the top Sixers analyst in town. Full stop. Ben Berry is a great producer, but also when he gets behind the mic he’s solid with a great personality.

  • Good-ish

I’m a huge sixers fan so I love coming to this podcast to get my basketball fix. But man…Danny Pommels talks waaaaaaaaay too much. And most of what he says isn’t substantial. Not to be mean, but he’s not being a good host by dominating the conversation. On top of his nitpicking and Ben Berry’s negativity. I find my self frustrated with this podcast far more often than not.

  • Fun Sixers Breakdown

I'm a total hoophead so I soak up all the Sixers pods I can. Sixers talk hits all the major points and has some interesting takes/opinions which is cool. They also have regular pods which is nice when you love the Sixers (despite them torturing me) as much as I do!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Who needs to step up for the Sixers in the second half of the season? Is Nic Batum the GOAT?
Q: Is there anything you are looking for in particular from the Sixers in this game without Joel Embiid?
I'm looking for serious offense and energy after the bad taste of the last game.
Joel Embiid addresses narratives
Q: Do you feel like in a way the organization has failed Joel Embiid?
Yes, by rushing him back from injuries and not providing adequate medical care.
Paul George undergoes knee procedure
Q: How would you mitigate George's absence and try to put the best competitive team out there?
The team may need to see whether there's one more role-player edition in store, and considering leaning into the youth movement with players like BJ Edgecombe and Jared McCain.
Should the Sixers bench Tobias Harris?
Q: Did you glean anything from what Nick Nurse had to say about Embiid's status or where he stands?
There wasn't much to glean, as Nurse said Embiid's been out on the court but hasn't seen him in a few days, so there's no super recent details.
Should the Sixers bench Tobias Harris?
Q: Is that something you think you'll have to consider?
Absolutely yes. I think you could come up with lineups that at the moment sound a little more appealing than that for the Sixers.
