    Crawford doesn’t profile in CF.

Our current outfield setup going into 2026 exposes our weaknesses even more. We could have had a right-handed Golden Glove, true centerfielder — something we haven’t had since Victorino — for a couple years while Crawford (yet another lefty hitter in this lineup) could have gotten acclimated in the outfield. He could platoon with Marsh and Garcia. Instead, we’re hoping to God this situation works out with Crawford and Kemp and that not a single player gets i... more

  • Generally Good Insights

I enjoy the Pod. Good information presented in an entertaining way. One major critique- don’t use the word “especially” so much when you can’t say it correctly. There is no such thing as expecially.

  • Phillies Talk

I’ve been listening to this podcast since it was Corey and Jim S. I like it and find it to be informative. However, I’m not a fan of Spencer. He brings no value to the pod. He’s just a rah rah and his oral speaking silks are horrible. I learned in 6th grade not to keep saying “um” when speaking out loud. It’s annoying. When Corey’s not on, I end up not listening. If he doesn’t travel with the team, doesn’t do interviews and never played the game, then I qualify for that job as well.

Jim Salisbury joins the show + pitching plans for Opening Day and WBC storylines
Q: What impact does Aaron Nola's WBC involvement have on the Phillies?
Nola's performance in the semifinal and his rest schedule could influence his readiness and pitch count for opening week, but the Phillies are likely to coordinate to ensure he's prepared for the season while supporting Team Italy.

Q: How might the opening day rotation look given Wheeler's status and Painter's progress?
A likely scenario is Wheeler in some form of bullpen readiness and then a rotation mix that could include Walker and Painter at the start, especially with home games to begin the season; the exact order depends on health and how spring unfolds.
