  • A Favorite Listen Year-Round

One of my favorite podcasts to listen to year-round. Would love to see a 2x a month episode devoted to analysis of player stats during the season or maybe feature episodes on players/coaching staff during the off-season.

Hey just wanted to say I love when you all three are involved. You have differing insight, the delay kind of sucks but top notch. Excited for summer of the cheap weiners. 👍

  • Enjoyable

But so much potential. I’m pretty disappointed by the hot takes of the guests. I thought they had some analytical bona fides (baseball prospectus and Sabr). I get the data doesn’t always make for a fun, mainstream podcast. But too often they have opinions that leave me asking “why do they think that?” Too often they just “feel” a certain way. Humor and analysis can work together. Call me a grandpa and wistful for firejoemorgan of yesteryear I guess.

  • Please Find New Hosts!

Now that this Phillies season is essentially over, I want to respectfully request the producers find two new hosts for this podcast. John and Liz bring nothing interesting to the discussion of the Phillies. I feel I like I’m listening to two lawyers on a blind date at CBP, fighting to sound smart and interesting while talking about baseball as they’re each on their phones, trying to line up dates with other people for later in the week. Can you please find two hosts who really know baseball and ... more
