Reported six years ago that - Far too many ‘programme temporarily unavailable’ warnings.
Nothing has changed. Sounds and iplayer still in a state of disarray.
I have been frustrated with the lack of depth and coverage regarding on what is happening in Israel/Palestine and turning more and more to better alternatives. I am relieved it is now public and I won’t be listening to a show by an organisation, that seems to support genocide. For that reason I certainly cannot trust the BBC’s reporting on anything anymore.
We miss the daily updates.
The podcasts are uploaded only twice a week. So most of them are out of date.
It’s often said the BBC is no longer impartial, and has not been for a long time (in my view, the BBC is undoubtedly left-of-centre). While I think this largely holds true, I think it comes about as close to impartiality as any news outlet nowadays. I certainly prefer the BBC to ITV or Sky. As for Apple Podcasts - why on Earth do they only hold a day’s news for 5 days before removing it?! Check for yourself - there are only ever 5 or 6 episodes available. How odd.
