Episode 130 | Tom McSharry
Q: What advice would you give to someone looking to get into stand up?
Ignore anyone who says you can't do it. There's only one way to find out.
Episode 130 | Tom McSharry
Q: How, why, when, and where did you get into comedy?
I got into comedy around 18 months ago. It was the best thing I ever did. I wanted to do it for so long, and I either just didn't have the balls to do it, or I was just procrastinating. I started when I was 27 and I knew it was what I had been missing for so long.
Episode 129 | Dom Marshall
Q: What advice would you give someone who has never done comedy before and is looking to get into it?
If someone wants to start comedy, I would tell them how it is, the hardships and the good things about it, so they know what they're getting into, and to not expect to get famous or rich quickly.
Episod 128 | Freddie Hill
Q: Could you give me some advice? And you can't say just do it.
Just start gigging. It's not worth it. You have to be prepared to be shit at it.
Episode 132 | Joe Soroca
Q: How has your comedy improved in two years?
Most improvement is in my writing; I've become better at identifying which material works best.
