Are olive oil shots a good idea? Should we dunk butter in our coffee? Is soy really “the most dangerous food for men?” and is chocolate actually a health food? (The royal pharmacist certainly thought so when he treated Marie-Antoinette’s headaches during 18th-century France with chocolate!). If health experts tell us we’re consuming too much salt, how do we balance that with cookbooks advising we ... more

Would love another series of this podcast. Well done. Sam
I tried to listen to the the tea episode but the background music competes with the talk. I was looking forward to listening to it but as I wear hearing aids, I found it very frustrating.
Generally enjoy this podcast as it’s very informative, but for some reason when I try to listen to the seafood episode it repeats the previous cheese episode?
Interesting podcast but the sound editing / music is competing with the narrator. Hard to follow the story with the aural confusion.
Interesting podcast but came in thinking it would be more nutritional focus or even science based with how to cook/eat. More focussed on the differences around the world and history, which is super interesting. Keep going and maybe consider amending the title
