These guys need to slow down and think a little more about the show. There are so many errors in the first 30 minutes and I gave up. Not long after one was talking about Protestants vs Christians and no one would correct him that it was Protestant vs Catholic, a very basic history fact, I just couldn't take it. They seem to really like the show but I don't think they know why.
I listen to a lot of movie/tv review podcasts and I follow 2 or three that are coving shogun and maybe I haven’t been paying attention but I’ve learned more from episodes 1/2 with these guys as I have with all the other shows. These guys are great! more
Can’t wait for Tuesday. Thoroughly captured by this amazing story. I remember the original story plus I read the book way back then. I must thank your valuable information and insight to assist in following all the characters and plot twists and turns. Keep up the great job you do. P/S I just downloaded the book
Shogun is incredible and this coverage is incredible. The breakdown and commentary on the Japanese culture is so fun to listen to!
