Really fantastic! Loved it! Looking forward to more!
As someone who exclusively listens to immersive fiction podcasts, I’m here to say this is a triumph. The perfect amount of horror and heart. The characters are relatable, their actions understandable, and their fears/emotions envelop the listener. The plot is also refreshingly unique with an extremely well built world. Everything about this is great story telling, down to production quality. Can’t wait for more
This show is SO well done. I’m always a little nervous about fiction podcasts, but these guys knocked it out of the park with this one. It was interesting, a little confusing in the best way, made me think, and absolutely incredible story!! Everyone interested in the weird and surreal needs to watch this!!
Super well made, with great sound design, music, and acting all around. I don't find it all that *scary* necessarily, but the concepts are solid and interesting, and there's a whole lot of heart (even if the protag can be frustrating at times, seemingly). Some VERY emotional and moving performances, bravo to the cast. Very interested to see where it goes in season 2.
At first I thought this pod was going in a different direction but I can safely say that this show hits all the boxes for me. Not only is the world building really compelling, but the main idea behind the this show emphasizes the mundanity we take for granted. The way the story is told is also very innovative and that’s the type of thing I like to hear. Similar to shows like Malevolent or Magnus Archives, this show finds a way to narrate without it sounding like an audio book.
