  • You can’t have great debates when you’re one eyed.

We were listening to your podcasts but after watching your absolute bias call against Fremantle v Sydney. we won’t be listening again. Go back and listen to yourself because it was sickening to listen to. Reid cops a hit in the ribs and then gets a two handed shove to that area and you laughed and said if he stays on then he’s ripe for the pickings.. Selwood got a week for shoving his own brother 🤔.. But the best was “all Sydney have to do is win 8 from 8 to make finals” and Freo will be sittin... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

AFL Nation commentator Josh Jenkins on Dwayne's World - Friday 10th July
Q: Which teams do you see as the main premiership contenders this season?
Jenkins emphasizes Fremantle and Brisbane as the frontrunners, with other strong contenders like Melbourne, Sydney, and Geelong providing depth; the discussion highlights the need for teams to have multiple modes of play to adapt for finals.
AFL Nation Commentator Mark Bickley on Dwayne's World - Monday 13th July
Q: What did you like most about the weekend games that you saw?
The guest highlighted the maturity and pressure handling of teams in the second half, particularly how Adelaide and Fremantle navigated the high-pressure moments, while also noting the depth and leadership across squads that could sustain good form into the finals.
Chief Sports Reporter Sam Edmund on Dwayne's World - Monday (29/06/26)
Q: What are the latest on Joel Amati and his injury.
Sam Edmund outlined that Amati suffered a partial Achilles tear with a 10-week absence, impacting his potential return and complicating the Swans' forward plans as they manage contracts and team composition.
Dwayne's World - Tuesday - Full Show (30/06/26)
Q: First, I'll start with a question. What's the benefit of being an umpire at the moment?
The primary benefits are the ability to stay in the game long-term and earn a solid income, but the role is under scrutiny for its lack of a clear professional pathway, which the caller suggests AFL needs to improve by making umpiring more attractive and structured.
Fox Footy Journalist David Zita with all the latest news - Tuesday (30/06/26)
Q: What else are you keeping an eye on as we head into the off-season?
Zita outlines ongoing coaching discussions across clubs like Carlton and Geelong, plus potential player movements involving Ben King, Bailey Humphrey, and others, with emphasis on how these affect club strategies and draft/cap space.
