  • Please fix audio levels

Great show, but the audio levels are terrible. One commentator can hardly be heard and the next breaks your ears. And the ads are so much louder than the show.

Love the Sunday panel chemistry; very entertaining and natural. Much better without McClure (sorry Sam). And of course Lane, Wilson & Matthews remain the GOAT.

  • Stop trying so hard Sam

I know being combative is your ‘schtick’ Sam but boy it gets tiresome being so contrarian to almost every opinion of the panel. It comes across as defensive and insecure and takes away from the really good takes you do have

Q: Is it normal to try to seek clarification after the game, and would you usually talk to a player then?
Usually yes, but after challenging games or when a player is reported, it's not always appropriate to have conversations, though post-game apologies or clarifications can occur when things calm down.

Q: As an umpire, do you have to take offence to something to then report it?
Offence is judged by the individual umpire; most senior umpires have thick skins and high tolerance, but there are lines that, if crossed, lead to reporting and sanctions.
THE ROUND THAT WAS... Gather Round! (April 12, 2026)
Q: Chris, after that early arm wrestle up until that time out of the second quarter, your mids really took control, and it was from the middle of the ground with strong bodies and really good method in the clearances. How did you see it out there?
Chris Scott responds with appreciation for composure and execution, noting the team's ability to sustain pressure and improve in contested ball and clearance as the game progressed.
