EP365- Love Island Cally Beech Revisited
Q: How did motherhood influence your career and brand deals?
Motherhood shifted the focus toward family-friendly content, maternity wear, and brands that aligned with being a mum, while still pursuing music and personal authenticity.
EP365- Love Island Cally Beech Revisited
Q: What was it like leaving the show and handling public attention early on?
Public attention felt mostly positive and manageable at the time, though there was pressure as the platform expanded, and I navigated the dynamic of PR, media training, and brand expectations.
EP360- Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton: I Didn’t Feel Safe
Q: You mentioned you don't have 100% self-love for yourself. Why do you think you struggled to accept love from partners and family, and how has that changed over time?
A combination of early life pressures, public scrutiny, and a lack of a steady support system created self-doubt; with time, journaling, therapy, and open conversations helped me acknowledge my worth and learn to accept love, including from my partner and children.
EP360- Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton: I Didn’t Feel Safe
Q: Can I ask you two questions? Do you feel in hindsight that you were too young to know yourself before you had the career at 16 and became a mom at 19?
Yes, I was a young kid from inner city Liverpool with little guidance, moved to London at 16, and tended to seek safety in relationships due to fear, which shaped choices and life paths; awareness and self-discovery evolved over time, especially through motherhood and independence.
EP359- Love Island Tasha Ghouri Revisited
Q: What motivated you to pursue television and fight for representation despite the stigma around disability?
I wanted to show that someone with a disability can be confident, flirty, and romantic on screen, not just seen as a stereotype. The drive came from a long-standing belief that TV should reflect real diversity and that open conversations can redefine what's possible for younger viewers.
