  • Really lovely, enjoyable podcast

This is such a relaxing podcast to listen to. I wish it was longer! I really like the format but feel like it goes by too quickly, and I would love to see longer art projects from the guests.

  • Just lovely

Late finder to the pod but it’s been bloody lovely.

The guests are funny and open because Annie has tricked them into being in the name of art. Lovely stuff.

Nick Helm (No One Gets Out Alive / Uncle / Heavy Entertainment)
Q: What made you go to get a diagnosis? Or did you go thinking that you might have bipolar or ADHD?
I thought I had PTSD, but after struggling, I decided to pay for a private doctor to find out what was wrong with me.
Nick Helm (No One Gets Out Alive / Uncle / Heavy Entertainment)
Q: What do you want to know? What's it about?
Well, I used to write a lot of shows about mental health, but I felt like I was pigeon-holing myself a bit. The new show is more about hitting your 40s and self-acceptance.

Q: Do you think that's influenced your taste and impacted your appreciation of art?
Without a doubt, it has impacted both.
Lucy Pook (Pursed Lip / Fringe)
Q: Do you get nervous about the prospect of students rocking up?
Yeah, they do know my students, which is always interesting.
Lucy Pook (Pursed Lip / Fringe)
Q: What made you want to do stand up?
Terror; I kind of wanted to challenge myself.
