Storytelling mostly through telecoms with poignant interactions between characters. Lovely music and thoughtful use of sound effects enhanced the tale being told. Complete where it ends but I'll miss this fantastic podcast anyway.

I realize I’m about 5 yrs late to this particular party, but I’m so glad I found this pod. Wonderful writing and acting in this sweet sci-fi production.

Delightful and heartwarming (breaking/warming?). A part of me wishes it was longer but its very neatly packed into these 10 episodes. I loved Bell's voice! Also a joy to hear familiar voices guesting in this.

this is such a hidden gem! queer, sweet, emotional, great characters, writing, voice acting... the sound design is well done too, tho there is a bit of varying quality with some of the voice actors mics.

if u want a sweet tale of trying not to be alone on an alien planet I very highly recommend!

Fun science fiction, with thorough development of characters you come to like.

Second Star is an audio drama that uses its medium to perfection. It's a story of loneliness, of voices over the radio being all you have. It's also a puzzle box, as motivations that are initially murky become clear, and old found footage reveals. It's a riveting sci fi tale (love a tidally locked planet!) and incorporates unexpected (but beautiful) fairy tales excerpts. I don't want to spoil too much, but this is a gorgeous tale that will break your heart in the best way.

Truly a beautiful story and podcast - incredibly written, acted, and built out. A greedy part of me wants so much more content from this world, but this short(-ish, in terms of episode count) and sweet story of connection, community even though isolation, and love in all it's forms is just a perfectly encapsulated gift from the creators, cast, and everyone who brought it to life.

I absolutely adore this podcast. It’s extremely well-written and the characters and story are intriguing. Definitely recommend giving it a listen!

It's been awhile since I last chewed through an audio drama in one go. Very well done, immersive, heartfelt, tons of great humor, great acting, just the right amount of background ambient noise, very well done. Already recommended to my fam!

If you are looking for a great podcast I cannot recommend this podcast enough. It’s full of emotion in all the best ways. It’s only 10 episodes long leaving you wishing there were more but ends exactly as it should.

Being a lifelong fan of space and Peter Pan, I was already excited going into this. It proved to be so much more and so much better than I ever hoped.

The storytelling is just brilliant. The writing is compelling and fluid from the overarching plot to the individual episodes, all the way down to the little "bedtime stories". It is absolutely brilliant. The dialogue is some of the most grounded and believable in the whole medium.
