  • Not very practical

The guests are interesting but the host talks way too much. Sounds like a nice chap but waffles on without adding much value. The host should be trying to bring out the best advice and tips from the guest, but this rarely happens so the content rarely lives up to the promise of the show title.

  • Too much empty chatter

I want this podcast to succeed but unfortunately it’s not very helpful. Just headline chatter. Not much you can learn from listening.

SEO Trends & Insights from the Web Almanac 2025
Q: So what was the process like for you guys writing and being part of the editorial and review process?

Q: What would you tell someone today about building resilience in a changing SEO/branding landscape?
Invest in a multi-channel brand presence, maintain consistency across platforms, and treat branding as a long-term strategic asset—it's about reputation, not just rankings, and about building reliable channels beyond search engines.

Q: Was there a specific moment you realized you needed to shift strategy away from relying on affiliate-driven traffic?
Yes, when the declines persisted and the landscape changed; we pivoted by focusing on brand-building, cross-platform presence, and shifting lead generation toward channels like LinkedIn and newsletters, while preserving core evergreen topics.
The secrets to earning great HARO links with Greg Heilers
Q: Why is HARO something you think is important to talk about in 2025?
HARO remains a foundational tool in reactive PR, but its value now comes from thoughtful platform choice, alignment with brand authority, and using it to reach qualified journalists rather than indiscriminate mass outreach; it's about maintaining quality in a crowded space and leveraging co-citations and brand mentions to support long-term SEO goals.
