  • Strong Hosts, but the Podcast Feels Too Structured

I started listening to this podcast because I absolutely love Dr. Nicole — she’s amazing, and honestly the main reason I gave this show a chance. Tiffany also seems great and brings good energy.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Best of Scrubs: The Anesthesia Episode
Q: Does anesthesia always make people nauseous and is there anything that can be done about it?
Nausea is a common risk (PONV), about 30% in general and up to 70% in high-risk patients; we can reduce risk with non-opioid strategies, antiemetics, a careful choice of anesthesia type, and sometimes a total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) to avoid gases.
Low Libido, Scheduled Sex, and Discovering the A-Spot with Dr. Lisa Paz
Q: How did you decide to become an expert in sexual health and therapy?
Dr. Paz describes an evolving career from couples counseling toward a formal discipline in sexology, driven by curiosity and a desire to make conversations about sex accessible, non-judgmental, and scientifically grounded.
Q+A: Peptides, Parenting, and The Pitt
Q: Why did you choose anesthesiology as your specialty?
Both highlight the variety, immediate patient impact, and the ability to work with multiple disciplines as key reasons for choosing anesthesia.
Q+A: Peptides, Parenting, and The Pitt
Q: What are your thoughts on peptides and longevity trends?
Tiffany describes enrolling in a longevity program with structured curriculum and evidence-based materials, while Nicole emphasizes needing solid clinical evidence and third-party testing before using peptides.
Q+A: Peptides, Parenting, and The Pitt
Q: What are your thoughts on letting your kids sleep over at other people's homes?
Both hosts express strict boundaries: sleepovers are generally not allowed unless the other family is well known, with explicit agreement, and even then it's approached cautiously to avoid exposing kids to risky situations.
