This podcast is okay but I feel like she’s always so negative. I know this is about scandals but EB comes off like a hater no matter what she’s talking about. It would be nice to hear anything that she doesn’t just hate.
I’ve been listening for a couple months and initially liked it but came back to update my review. I’ve stopped listening now. The host treats her listeners like we’re the problem. “It happened because you people are so obsessed with fame and making these evil people famous.” No, actually, if I’m listening to your podcast I’m not a celebrity sycophant, I’m on the host’s side. It just seemed like the host was always fussing at me like I caused these problems, not explaining how it happened.
Look, I love the content, facts and story telling. But Im wondering- who is your audience? Because I agree with you, but I feel like you are talking to us like WE are the idiots. Like WE are in trouble. I feel like your audience on this Duggar episode is people who love the Duggars and you are telling them how bad that is. But um— no. I don’t like the Duggars, I agree with you, and I had to turn you off because I felt like a was the kid in class that did my homework, but Im still getting yelled ... more
Just started listening and can’t stop!!! E.B. Is entertaining, informative, persuasive and engaging. Her episodes are true, well researched deep dives, and they expose the dark side of celebrity culture. A must listen to understand the serious social, emotional, economic and political ramifications of today’s cultural icons. Thank you for this important work!
I just started listening to this because I was curious about the Duggar/Kardashian information. I’m not sure about the Swiftie stuff that happened earlier because I wasn’t here yet, but just saying I’m a Taylor swift fan but still think this podcast is awesome. Keep doing you!!
