Sam Pancake Presents the Monday Afternoon Movie

TableCakes Productions

Actor and comedian Sam Pancake sits down with friends famous and funny to discuss the surreal, silly and nonetheless star-studded made-for-TV movies of the 1970s. It's a loving look at baffling not-quite-feature-length flicks that often aren't on DVD and have largely been lost to time.

  • A delight

Sam is the most charming host with the best non-sequiturs, gossip, and tales from his past. I loved the recent ep with Sarah Marshall, but Iโ€™ve re-listened to them all!

  • Discovered this podcast when Sam was a guest on Midnight Mass, and thank goddess I did. This podcast brings back memories of watching TV movies in the 1970s. Sam and guests are so knowledgeable, wicked, and fun. Highly recommend whether you are familiar to TV movies of the week or a newbie.
