Actor and comedian Sam Pancake sits down with friends famous and funny to discuss the surreal, silly and nonetheless star-studded made-for-TV movies of the 1970s. It's a loving look at baffling not-quite-feature-length flicks that often aren't on DVD and have largely been lost to time.

One of my fav pod casts! No matter what I’m doing it’ll make me laugh!
As someone, OK, a gay kid growing up in the 70s. I think I’m pretty close to Sam’s age. I have great memories of this time and watching his movies. I remember my mom sending me into the bedroom saying you can’t see this part coming up.😂😂😂 I now find them to rewatch. Still great memories. My favorites are the ones that deal with the supernatural. Thank you for making me laugh monthly and I wish she did this more often

This show delivers affectionate deep-dives into 1970s made-for-TV movies, often overlooked or hard to find on DVD. Hosts bring humor, nostalgia, and sharp analysis to campy plots, production quirks, and era-specific storytelling, frequently inviting guests with horror, film history, or pop culture bona fides. The tone blends candid behind-the-scenes chatter, impersonations, and personal memories, making for entertaining yet informative conversations about a distinctive corner of television cinema. A standout trait is the ongoing passion for unearthing context around these niche titles, along with guest discussions that illuminate both the era's industry dynamics and the movies' enduring cult appeal.
