I’m fully in alignment with the protesters’ goals. And I have no issue with non destructive acts targeting art. However, the characterization of art, music, theater, as escapism is deeply ignorant and contradicts one of the statements of the
protesters who asks if people don’t believe the artists would agree with their cause they’re missing the point. Claiming art is escapism is also missing the point.
Impeccably researched. Take this journey. Allow yourself to consider, that just like all of us, that earth can only take so much greed and entitlement before it breaks down.
I listened from episode 1 and it gave me a reason to look forward to my Tuesday morning commute!
