My Russian was stalling out at the 4 year level. I could read and listen fairly well but not generate writing or speech comfortably. Because I was getting by on my noun vocab and guessing the verbs. I have learned a lot here!!

Native English speaker here, have been learning Russian on my own for a little over a year now. Placing myself at the level of experienced beginner / low intermediate speaker, I find Anna’s lessons wonderfully paced. Words articulated clearly. Verb functions explained slowly and precisely - even if I do not understand every word in the lesson, I understand the meaning of the lesson (and learn new words in the process!) After many years studying Russian, I find that verbs are what I need to work on the most. This podcast is clear, easy to understand & helping my progress.

These are superb podcasts for intermediate students. I have studied Russian for many years, using all sorts of materials. Without a doubt, Anna is the best Russian teacher I have found. Anna’s teaching materials (videos and podcasts) are all highly professional, always entertaining and interesting. When able, I take individual lessons from Anna on Italki. These are an amazing bargain and I highly recommend that any student of Russian sign up for some lessons on Italki.

I have not missed a single episode since its beginning. Russian verbs are probably the hardest aspect of the language to master. Anna chooses the most useful verbs that foreigners easily confuse and explains them clearly with many examples. I cannot think of a better way to learn Russian verbs. Я желаю что я мог выражать мое мнение лучше на русском, но увы я ещё новичок. Все таки, с помочью этого подкаста, я уверен что мой навык русского языка будет лучше.

Anna speaks clearly and explains things with several examples. I listen to several Russian podcasts and only just found this one but it has already become my favorite.
