As I said
In amongst the fun and arguing are points that have made the me think more than many other podcasts. (Is that English). Time to consider the fact that you have more than one listener, Nick and John.
While a podcast that overwhelmingly consists of two old friends talking and bickering about their lives, current affairs, and their wretched offspring may seem a peculiar proposition, Rum Doings, even though it scarecely seems to contain any rum at all these days, is always a welcome sight in my Podcasting application of choice on the (balefully irregular) occasion of its release. Long may it continue.
I listen to far too many podcasts and since day one this is and has continued to be the best. Its sincere, human and engaging. It feels now like a part of my life that im not sure I could live without, like a cup of tea on a rainy day.
You'd assume that a more or less unformatted podcast of two friends chatting would be the worst kind of indulgence, but somehow this is always top of my podcast queue. It's great when they're having informed arguments about things on the edge of their area of overlap, it's great when they're just taking the piss. It's just great.
