Edit. No longer listening due to glorification of alcohol. Alcohol causes tremendous pain for individuals and families in the form of addiction and health issues

Always a fun and educational listen with great time discipline - no waffle here! And Ross complements his talents with some amazing guests, both regular (Greg Cowell not to be missed) and one-off.

What a pile of rubbish. As a former NATA Certified Athletic Trainer, I thought this was self serving and devoid of facts as it relates to Dr. Choa’s activity with CA Medical Board. RT you are better than this??

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Peanut Tillman: All-Pro Cornerback & Creator of the "Peanut Punch"
Q: I'm sure that this is usually every interview you've ever done, but I don't actually know the story of how you got the nickname Peanut.
It began as a family nickname from my aunt who said I looked like a little peanut when I was born; it stuck with me through school, and once I became a known player, the name became a public identifier that I ultimately embraced.
Mike North & Max St. John: The Creators of the 2026 NFL Schedule
Q: What role does AI play in deciding which games go in holiday windows versus regular slots?
AI helps rank and bucket games by value and risk, enabling smarter placement in high-demand windows like Thanksgiving and Christmas, while still preserving traditional 1 p.m. Sunday slots as core anchors.
Mike North & Max St. John: The Creators of the 2026 NFL Schedule
Q: How does the level of discourse with teams before releasing the 272-game schedule influence the final product?
Teams provide input on travel, venue availability, and preferences, but the final decisions rely on a balance of team feedback and predictive analytics to optimize overall league value.
Mike North & Max St. John: The Creators of the 2026 NFL Schedule
Q: Are there any new competitive equality adjustments being baked into the schedule this year, particularly around rest disparity or travel?
Yes. The team considers rest disparity and travel, consults data from the DNA analytics group, and tests various scenarios to avoid unfair advantages, while acknowledging some elements are still driven by fan demand and market considerations.
Talking with Nate Jones: NFL Player turned Official
Q: How much of you going into the NFL in six years was due to being fast-tracked by the league and how much was about your own ability?
He credits a combination of his playing background, understanding of the game, and a willingness to learn quickly, along with mentorship and relentless travel to opportunities, as theReason for the rapid ascent.
