  • Just beautiful

So wonderful to follow this 2026 breeding season. Settle down and let your mind drift away to the wonderful world of kakapo nests eggs and chicks. Wonderful links to DoC resources such as the nest camera. Highly recommended for a little joy in this crazy world

  • Listening from England

I await each episode & am always rewarded with the latest Kakapo news. I am as far away from NZ as it’s possible to be but I feel close to the action of the 2026 breeding season. What a great way to find out about your rare, beautiful, flightless, chicken sized parrots. I have a toy Kakapo at the top of my stairs ( I bought it just before lockdown in 2019) so I get a daily reminder of these special birds!

    Fabulous podcast!
