I love We’re Obsessed and I’m so happy that it’s going to go to twice a week and be on a separate feed from Jam Session! It’s fun and upbeat and Jodi and Nora have great chemistry and so much enthusiasm.
Jam Session is the opposite. The internalized misogyny is rampant, it makes the hosts sound bitter and old. So much pick-me behavior, every week they’re randomly hating on another woman. The parroting of snark Reddit talking points is worrisome too, especially when a lot of what they claim has... more
Just a joke, how often these women beg for free gifts/products and then turn around and talk about how wealthy they are…unreal!!!!
I love Jam Session and We’re Obsessed. I don’t understand the haters when they say there’s too much kid talk. I don’t have kids and if it doesn’t bother me, it shouldn’t bother you. If you’re a parent and you’re enraged that Amanda and Juliet talk about kids, maybe you need to go get a hydrofacial or spend a solo night away from your family because you sound stressed and angry at the wrong people. Amanda and Juliet, keep up the good work. I look forward to every episode.
1. Juliet has been and always been awesome.
2. Amanda is so hard to listen to and cannot do it anymore (the whole reason I don’t listen to The Big Picture.
- She references how “old” she is in every episode. It’s boring and cliche and a great way to feel “old.”
- She talks about her kids too much. I come here for celeb news - not for a parenting podcast. Love that she loves them - don’t need to hear about it.
- Not sure if she can help it - but with any word that ends with “ing” she adds a “... more
I’ve been listening to this podcast religiously since Covid times and most of the time I really enjoy it. However, I do find that both Amanda and Juliet tend to share information that hasn’t been verified or researched. For example to (4/1/26) Juliet claimed that Swift sued Rodrigo over writing credits for using elements of NYD when in fact Rodrigo preemptively gave those writing credits to her. I don’t care about Taylor Swift or Olivia Rodrigo but I do care about the spread of misinformation es... more
