This was a five star podcast for me until they both came out as Timotheé Chalamet apologists. Way too much time spent on a boy who, despite years of PR training, severely misspoke (and will still win awards so, sadly, who cares). Women never get this many chances in the industry, or even this level of attention for their good choices. What a hill to die on.
A symptom of our age, my girlfriends and I seem to no longer have time/proximity to dish about pop culture like this. I listen to these ladies and get a similar rush. It’s fun!
But Juliet, please STOP with the ringtone sound effects- terrible on the ears
Just my favorite
I enjoy the show most of the time, but Amanda’s “Well” in that squeaky voice of hers before delivering questionable takes is frankly grating on my nerves.
WTF are you guys even talking about?! Ya’ll fail to mention this was possibly a methodical takeover of a no name director by a powerful Hollywood couple. This pod used to be my insight into pop culture with a unique / hilarious take, now you’re just bought and payed for shills.
Full disclosure, I’ll still be listening to The Rewatchables(awesome pod); unless, Amanda Dobbins is on, you’re the absolute worse - def mean... more
