  • Ok, but needs work

I love these interviews, but PG needs to be more professional. That one obnoxious interviewer that always does the metal interviews says “God d@&$,” and “f#%+,” every other word needs to be fired. Grow up. It’d be nice to listen to these with the kids who are into guitar. And hello, you’re doing AUDIO; STOP slapping hands when greeting and saying goodbye! Have you ever seen anything on camera ever, or heard any audio production ever ever? Fist bumps and hand shakes. Jeez. And several episodes su... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rig Rundown: Madison Cunningham
Q: From in to out, can you take us through the pedalboard and how you're routing things?
She describes a live-routing setup starting from the Ernie Ball tuner, through the Galaxy, and then a chain including a custom pedal built with JHS, a tremolo/warble setup, and a loop station for live looping, emphasizing practical use and how she interacts with tweaks during performance.
Rig Rundown: Madison Cunningham
Q: Okay, so this is brand new to you, tell me about this.
Madison explains that the Novo guitar is a new addition with a distinctive color and a feel similar to a Jazzmaster, but with its own unique character that she loves for its stability and overtones, especially suitable for drop tunings.
Rig Rundown: Jack Ruch
Q: Yeah. Now, you just finished your album, right? When can people find it?
He confirms the album, tracked at Sound Emporium with notable players, and points listeners to his website jackruch.com for updates and availability, with a tentative release window in May or June.
Rig Rundown: Jack Ruch
Q: Okay, tell me all about it.
Jack outlines the first main guitar, a vintage 63 Tele he's had a couple of years, its wear from heavy playing, and why it remains central to his tone, followed by details about another Tele build by Danocaster and then a newer Les Paul tweaked by Historic Makeovers, with emphasis on feel, neck shape, and how these guitars affect his on-stage palette.
Rig Rundown: MGK’s Justin Lyons and Sophie Lloyd
Q: What are some things that you're planning for the upcoming year?
I'm looking forward to diving more into creative directing and artist development within the Dallas music scene.
