Rethinking Palestine is only released once a month or so, but super high quality when they come out.
This podcast feels more like an echo chamber than an insightful discussion. The same propaganda is repeated over and over, with little to no fresh perspectives or factual depth. If you’re looking for new insights or a balanced take, this isn’t the place to find them.
Rethinking Palestine, and the entire Al-Shabaka network, are a vital resource for anyone who wants to break out of the shameful Western media narratives and really engage critically with the insight and vision of Palestinian intellectual leadership around their people’s struggle.
Propaganda. Misinformation. Perpetuating these false narratives is setting the Palestinian people back from self-determination and achievement of their independent statehood.
This podcast is the new nakba. Don’t listen to this mind poison.
What I really like is that this podcast centres Palestinian indigenous voices. We hear a lot of analysis from settler colonists and their allies in academia and journalism. But I prefer to hear it straight from the lived experience of Palestinians.
