Best metal podcast on the web bar none!!!
I first found these guys years ago when I was discovering what a podcast was. I searched for metal and I believe first started with an old episode talking about progressive metal. I was instantly hooked. These guys are about my age (which I won’t say), but they’ve been around for the 80’s&90’s yet have immense knowledge of all eras. They are very well studied and honestly when I want to learn more about a band, scene or style, they are one of my first and best resources. Highly recommend.
I really love this podcast, but guys - the episodes are TOO. FVCKING. LONG. I can stand two or even three hour episodes - not six plus hours! I can't give you five stars because of this. Do I have to become a paying listener to get shorter episodes? Huh? Anyway, I really like what you are doing. You can stop talking about your kids for half an hour to begin with!
Both thrower/ immortal/ Witchery/ MC5/ Dischatge/ and hopefully in the future- ABBATH!
Jason and mark continue to add knowledge and wisdom to all things metal.
