  • New fave

It is wild to me how a show like this can uplift my day and make me feel like I’ve just had an interaction with some mates! I think in post covid times everyone is seeking connection and to be part of something and I love that these boys manage to do that. Especially through book club and the tv show segments. You guys are awesome. Facts.

  • No one cares about Amanda Knox

Amazing pod. Funny, love their perspectives but the blunt interjection of ads that cut off the conversations ruins it.

Going from the guys talking about a baddies’ ex ghosting her to “the gripping tale of Amanda Knox…” back to, talking about the ex, not good flow at all boys.

I get you need ads to make a living and pay to keep making episodes, but just read them yourself and flow them into conversations or in between segments. It would make it so much better.

  • This is my kinda podcast!

Oh-k-k-k-k! 🤣 This has got to be one of THEE most hilarious pods I’ve listened to in a while. The ACOTAR recaps brought be here and I can’t believe I’ve found people who are as unhinged about this book as I am. They speak my (filthy) language and I get to revisit the books in another way. I’m hooked!

  • A fun time!

I found these two through their ACOTAR book club. Of course I absolutely love their recaps/reviews of the series. Specifically, I love how much they enjoy it. They are right when they say that joy is contagious. Over time I’ve expanded to their other content because I enjoy them so much. In a medium that’s rife with toxic masculinity, Jake and Ottie are a breath of fresh air. It’s a pleasure to watch two emotionally mature guys who are good friends chatting it up.

    Would 100% recommend!

DILEMMAS: COMMUNICATION (AROUND S*X)
Q: Is this something that can be worked through or is my gut telling me this isn't the right person anymore?
Both answers are valid; the relationship can be workable if both partners communicate effectively, but if you feel your needs aren't being met, it's also okay to consider leaving.
HE'S A RED FLAG BUT.....
Q: What inspired you to take the first initial steps to write this book?
Suffering from mental health issues during a residential program inspired her to compile a book of essential skills learned during treatment.
DILEMMAS: I DID SOMETHING I REGRET!!
Q: Should I reach out to the guy I slept with to inform him that I'm pregnant?
Yes, you should tell him because he deserves to know about the child, regardless of your previous agreement.
DILEMMAS: I DID SOMETHING I REGRET!!
Q: What advice do you have for someone who feels insecure about being a virgin and has made up a sex life?
You might just need to stop talking about it and say you're on a dry spell instead.
DILEMMAS: HE'S PERFECT BUT...
Q: Should I give my boyfriend a chance even if I have concerns about his physical size?
Yes, consider giving him a chance and see how things go, as there's more to a relationship than physical attributes.
