  • This is my kinda podcast!

Oh-k-k-k-k! 🤣 This has got to be one of THEE most hilarious pods I’ve listened to in a while. The ACOTAR recaps brought be here and I can’t believe I’ve found people who are as unhinged about this book as I am. They speak my (filthy) language and I get to revisit the books in another way. I’m hooked!

  • A fun time!

I found these two through their ACOTAR book club. Of course I absolutely love their recaps/reviews of the series. Specifically, I love how much they enjoy it. They are right when they say that joy is contagious. Over time I’ve expanded to their other content because I enjoy them so much. In a medium that’s rife with toxic masculinity, Jake and Ottie are a breath of fresh air. It’s a pleasure to watch two emotionally mature guys who are good friends chatting it up.

    Would 100% recommend!

WHAT HE SAYS VS WHAT SHE HEARS
Q: How do you think your boyfriend went?
I think he did okay. He did say that I was his pet at the end. So I was like, oh! But I mean, he said that he would put me in his favorite flower. So I guess that's fine.
"I LOVE YOU, BUT I'M NOT IN LOVE WITH YOU" WHATTTTTT?!!
Q: How do you handle a long-distance relationship?
You need to communicate openly and set clear boundaries about what you are and aren't willing to do.
"I LOVE YOU, BUT I'M NOT IN LOVE WITH YOU" WHATTTTTT?!!
Q: What should I do if my partner loves me but isn't in love with me?
You should cut your losses and consider whether this relationship is worth continuing.
DESCRIBE HIS D WITHOUT USING THE WORD BIG OR SMALL?
Q: Did the mom pick up on anything, do you reckon, in her face, in her demeanor?
No, she was so nice and probably didn't notice anything amiss.
DESCRIBE HIS D WITHOUT USING THE WORD BIG OR SMALL?
Q: Did you have fun doing that?
Yes, I did actually.
