  • Basics of EM 👎🏻

Big fan of the podcast overall, but not the new Basics of EM series. Very dogmatic and feels like we’re reading out of the textbook instead of providing a review of good practice as the title of the podcast suggests.

Great form and exciting content.
So excited you have joined IAMED to share your knowledge to even more people!
I'm a medical student on my emergency medicine placement at the moment and this podcast is very useful. The episode on comparing amiodarone vs procainamide in management of VT was insightful and the discussion high-quality. Many of the episodes are short (> 20 min) which lend to easy listening while having lunch.
This podcast is doing a great job of bringing cutting edge information in Emergency Medicine from current literature. No biased about what to do, just reviews on the most recent data to help change your practice in real time.
Thanks..
