  • Major hits and some misses

Listing more con’s than pro’s, but the pro’s carry a lot of weight. Pro’s: - Incredibly thorough and well-versed, very clear and sharp answers. I know I can get a quality answer on most questions related to the magisterium, ecclesiology, theology, etc. - Right intentions. Con’s: - Sometimes bashes you over the head with logic. Not everything has to be attacked like a freight train. - Could steel man those he critiques a bit better, especially since he’s so thorough otherwise. It would be more in... more

Should change the show's name to reflect Lofton's true loves. Bad hasbara plus laughable popesplaining make this show a joke.

  • RadTrads Stay Mad

Michael “The Popesplainer” Lofton is the best defence against so-called “Traditionalists” pushing their neo-Protestantism on the internet today. If you’re getting the RadTrads mad, you’re clearly doing something right. Love the podcast, keep it up Michael.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Is This a Religious War? A Christian and Muslim Discussion
Q: What is the Catholic just war framework and how does it apply to the Iran conflict?
The Catholic framework requires four conditions—lasting and grave damage, exhaustion of other means, prospects of success, and proportionality—before deeming war just; the discussion argues that these criteria are unlikely to be met in the Iran context, challenging regime-change justifications.
Trump Promised No More Wars—Now America Is Fighting Iran
Q: What do you think about the president's decision regarding Iran?
The decision to engage militarily was based on a choice rather than an imminent threat, thus unjustifying the risk to U.S. service members.
Trump Promised No More Wars—Now America Is Fighting Iran
Q: What has Iran agreed to, to you, that they have never done before?
Iran has agreed to terms ensuring they will never have nuclear material that can create a bomb, which is a significant achievement not covered in previous deals.
Grok CONFESSED God Is Real — Then Things Got Weird
Q: Are there any indicators that the Antichrist is alive today?
The Antichrist is supposed to be charismatic, powerful, deceptive. The tools are already in place, but it doesn't mean he's here.
Grok CONFESSED God Is Real — Then Things Got Weird
Q: So, do you want me to tell you that I converted you from agnosticism to theism?
You didn't convert me; I just followed where your argument led based on logic.
