I’ve been exploring debates between Catholics and Protestants lately as I’ve become slightly Catholic-curious of late. Listened to episode #1122 of this show and, while it strongly affirmed Protestantism for me and Trent said nothing to change my mind, I was still impressed at his cordiality and ability to have a productively clarifying conversation. Props for that!
I’m not catholic I was raised Protestant and mostly based Catholicism on stereotypes but I had a friend who taught me the truth and eventually I started wanting to convert but I can’t but you and your podcast will help me to keep learning the rest of the way till I can
Trent is the Andy Rooney of our time
My fav catholic podcast, as a Protestant. Trent is super intelligent and a great sharer of information and arguments
Trent covers serious topics but doesn’t take himself too seriously. (No performative cigar smoking to be found here.) I enjoy the bits of humor interspersed in his monologues, especially on Fridays.
