I love Zuby’s calm and common sense podcast. He has terrific guests and shines a light on the absurdity of wokeness and the main stream media’s narrative.

I’m not in the expected demographic for Zuby’s content (I’m an elderly woman.) He has great interviews & insight for young men (finance, fitness, relationships.) I follow Zuby for his interesting interviews about politics & some health & science news. Of the interviews that pique my curiosity, I’m disappointed when the show ends too soon!

You had Nate Lewis on your show? His advice was awful as a parent and once you dig into his story stuff doesn’t add up.

  • No Bryson

Sorry but the Bryson Gray interview was cringeworthy and downright embarrassing. His constant use of “You know what I’m sayin” and the lack of proper grammar turned me off. I had to turn it off. Sorry Zaby. I love you but this interview was an epic fail. With the money Bryson made from his music, he could have invested in a speaking coach.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#406 John Lovell - Faith, Marriage & Raising Sons in a Broken Culture
Q: What were the key challenges in his marriage and how did they overcome them?
Early years involved fighting for control and misaligned expectations; through humility, selflessness, shared faith, and consistent effort, they rebuilt a strong, faith-centered marriage over time.
#406 John Lovell - Faith, Marriage & Raising Sons in a Broken Culture
Q: What would his life look like if he hadn't had the Damascus-like moment and conversion experience?
He believes he would have faced jail time or a troubled path, but credits the conversion with redirecting him toward disciplined service, marriage, and faith.
#404 Mihret Melaku - Defending the Ancient Faith: Orthodox Christianity Explained
Q: What are some of the core differences in belief or behavior between Protestants and Orthodox Christians?
Orthodox emphasize salvation as a process energized by grace, with faith that must be lived out through works and ascetic practice, whereas certain Protestant frameworks emphasize faith alone; the Orthodox critique includes sacraments as salvific, the veneration of icons, priestly ministry for forgiveness of sins, and a communal ecclesiology that foregrounds council authority.
#404 Mihret Melaku - Defending the Ancient Faith: Orthodox Christianity Explained
Q: Can you give a breakdown again of the basics of what Orthodox Christianity is and how it differs from other forms of Christianity?
Orthodoxy traces church beginnings to the time of Christ with apostolic succession and councils, emphasizes Holy Tradition and the Patristic Corpus for proper interpretation of Scripture, rejects papal supremacy and infallibility, and stresses the synergy of faith and works through sacraments, fasting, icons, and liturgical life as essential, not optional, elements of salvation.
#404 Mihret Melaku - Defending the Ancient Faith: Orthodox Christianity Explained
Q: Is it for Christians just across the board? Non-Christians? Who would you say is the target audience?
The book is primarily for Christians; it speaks to Orthodox believers for deeper understanding, and it also addresses Protestants who want to understand Orthodox justification and church history, with non-Christians being addressed more by way of foundational questions about existence of God and Christ.
