  • R.I.P. Bob Enyart

Real Science Radio has been such an amazing show and resource and has helped edify my faith in God. I’ve always been interested in the sciences and look forward to the show each week. God bless Bob and Fred’s families. I was sad to hear the news of Bob’s passing; but, as believers we have the comfort of knowing Bob is with his Lord - exactly the place he most wants to be. And, we have the hope that we will join him soon enough. Love you guys and please keep the show going!

Tom Dykstra Does MAHA & More Part I
Q: Is there a real risk of diseases like Ebola being transmitted by mosquitoes?
No, there is no documented transmission of Ebola by mosquitoes, though mosquitoes do transmit other diseases such as yellow fever and malaria.
Tom Dykstra Does MAHA & More Part I
Q: Can regenerative agriculture be clearly defined and implemented in a way that benefits farmers?
The hosts argue that without a universal definition, funding cannot be efficiently used; they stress the need for a clear, agreed definition and measurable goals before scaling support to farmers.
The Final Experiment Concludes...
Q: Can you explain why Antarctica was chosen for the test and how the setup worked there?
The guest explained that Antarctica uniquely challenges flat-earth claims due to real phenomena like the 24-hour sun; the setup involved a multi-camera live stream, a base camp, and a mission to document the sun's behavior over a complete day to provide transparent evidence.
Truing A.I. Part I
Q: What is the proposed solution to make AI more trustworthy and aligned with human values?
Adopt an axiomatic grounding framework that embeds fundamental, merciful principles into AI systems, combined with transparency about data provenance and a focus on restoration and redemption rather than punishment.
Truing A.I. Part I
Q: How do guardrails affect AI behavior and what happens when they are removed?
Guardrails constrain the AI to avoid harmful outputs, but removing or weakening them can cause the model to generate dangerous or unethical content, illustrating the need for balanced safeguards and better grounding rather than simply suppressing outputs.
