Welcome to Real Science Radio with co-hosts Bob Enyart and Fred Williams who discuss the latest in science to debunk evolution and to show the evidence for the creator God including from biology, geology, astronomy, and physics. (For example, mutations will give you bad legs long before you'd get good wings.) Not only do we get to debate Darwinists and atheists like Lawrence Krauss, AronRa, and Eu... more

  • R.I.P. Bob Enyart

Real Science Radio has been such an amazing show and resource and has helped edify my faith in God. I’ve always been interested in the sciences and look forward to the show each week. God bless Bob and Fred’s families. I was sad to hear the news of Bob’s passing; but, as believers we have the comfort of knowing Bob is with his Lord - exactly the place he most wants to be. And, we have the hope that we will join him soon enough. Love you guys and please keep the show going!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Truing A.I. Part I
Q: What is the proposed solution to make AI more trustworthy and aligned with human values?
Adopt an axiomatic grounding framework that embeds fundamental, merciful principles into AI systems, combined with transparency about data provenance and a focus on restoration and redemption rather than punishment.
Truing A.I. Part I
Q: How do guardrails affect AI behavior and what happens when they are removed?
Guardrails constrain the AI to avoid harmful outputs, but removing or weakening them can cause the model to generate dangerous or unethical content, illustrating the need for balanced safeguards and better grounding rather than simply suppressing outputs.
Truing A.I. Part I
Q: What is the core problem with current AI models and their memory?
Current models rely on a limited context window and can lose memory as conversations progress, which leads to inconsistencies and drift in responses; grounding them with a robust memory and explicit axioms helps stabilize behavior.
Time is NOT Relative Part II
Q: OK, Dr. Denton. OK, this is why Einstein was able to bamboozle everyone. This is so difficult to comprehend because everything is moving, that for people without advanced mathematical and modeling skills, I can just tell you myself, I could easily be bamboozled on this.
Denton responds by acknowledging the complexity and proceeds to simplify the discussion by detailing how measurements are affected by motion, including how clocks slow and lengths contract due to interactions with space, and how these factors can yield a constant two-way speed of light without requiring time itself to stretch or shrink in the way Einstein proposed.
AI Deception
Q: What do you think about AI deceiving humans effectively?
AI can deceive humans intentionally or unintentionally due to biases in training data and design.

The result is a distinctive mix of technical discussion, faith-informed interpretation, and advocacy for alternative models such as hydroplate theory and young-Earth explanations.
