I love the thought that goes before choosing a guest. Paul Kingsnorth provided valuable ways of thinking about the environment. Will give it a re-listen
It cannot be just me, but it seems that there is volume issues with this podcast, well actually all the Justin Brierley podcasts. In comparison to other podcasts in Apple Podcasts the sound drops so low that when this podcast ends and the other begins my ears ring out and I have to jump to adjust levels once again. I think in mastering please check the sound levels. It will make the podcast more enjoyable to listen.
Thoughtful, analytical and intelligent discussion of issues that make you stop and think. It encourages you to examine your own beliefs and where they come from, rather than making sweeping assumptions based on cultural expectations and the often uninformed opinions of others. I’m not a Christian but I have learnt so much. Top notch listening, thank you!
Every episode that I’ve listened to has been fun and interesting. Well done to the hosts for setting an environment where guests can be open, honest and engaging!
Thanks for hosting this podcast! The conversations are engaging, the guests are knowledgeable, and as a Christian who's struggled to believe in the truth of my worldview for most of my life, it's been encouraging for me to hear stories from people like David Bennett and Paul Kingsnorth, since they've gone through long seasons of spiritual wandering, too.
