  • Not quite elite

Good sound quality for the players/coaches. Tough to hear the questions at times. Not sure why the ravens choose to set up in front of where kids are screaming which is distracting. Not the fault of the podcast. But the organization should recognize this and set up for recording.

  • Best thing to happen to Ravens Nerds

I already listened/watched all pressers on the Ravens app or online. Bringing the pressers to podcast format was a boss move. Now I can nerd out more easily.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Trey Hendrickson, Eric DeCosta, & Jesse Minter: Ravens Press Conference 3/13/26
Q: Eric, why now and why Hendrickson for a long-term contract—what makes this the right move for the Ravens?
We had financial flexibility and a clear plan to swing for impact players who can help us win now, especially at the edge. Hendrickson fits our scheme and culture, and his proven production aligns with our goal of maintaining a championship-level defense.
Eric DeCosta: Ravens Press Conference 3/11/26
Q: How much did the potential presence of Trey Hendrickson influence your thinking in the negotiation process?
The focus was on maximizing our own roster and the long-term fit, and while Trey was part of discussions, the calculation was ultimately about what makes the Ravens better as a football team, not solely about any single player.
Eric DeCosta: Ravens Press Conference 3/11/26
Q: Eric, what can you tell us about why the Max Crosby trade did not go through?
We evaluated the deal thoroughly with multiple parties, gathered information, and concluded that we could not complete the process based on our assessment of what was best for the roster and the organization at this time.
Eric DeCosta and Jesse Minter: Ravens Press Conferences 2/24/26
Q: How do you balance that best player available mindset kind of philosophy with also like team needs?
DeCosta explains that while they prioritize the best available player approach, team needs influence their selections, especially in later rounds.
Eric DeCosta and Jesse Minter: Ravens Press Conferences 2/24/26
Q: How do you expect the tackle this offseason?
Minter emphasizes the variety of strategies needed for effective pass rush including playing with the lead and blitzing more.
