  • 10/30/25 Starks vs Emmanwori

This isn’t going to be a sophisticated point as in backed by statistics or play, but the reason I don’t think it’s a fair comparison is because of the difference between MacDonald vs Orr as a defensive play caller and planner.

I understand liking Emmanwori as a prospect due to his physical abilities and potential, but I feel like him going to MacDonald meant he landed in a spot where that coach could maximize that potential. I feel like S.Spagnola, V.Joseph, or B.Flores could also take a playe... more

  • Review

Like most Ravens podcasts, this one overlooks Lamar’s critical flaws in an effort to appease its fan base…but, it is far more detailed and useful than the rest of them

  • Best Raven Podcast & Analysis

Ken and his guests provide the best and most articulate fact based analysis of any forum I have experienced. I anxiously await his daily pod casts . Keep up the great work! I don’t know how you find the time to perform the analysis you provide. The Raven organization should consider hiring you!

Coming back to emphasize just how fact based and outstanding Ken’s analysis is in all facets of the games.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Friday Morning GM 7/31/26
Q: Jordan Fitchett asks if the linebacker position is getting swept under the rug and whether they should add a veteran or rely on Simpson's leap.
The hosts indicate that there is a preference to push forward with Simpson and internal options (Higgins, Buchanan) rather than forcing a veteran addition; they expect a heavier reliance on dime packages and emphasize that the team should only add a veteran if it clearly benefits roster depth and scheme without undermining younger players' development.
UDFA Hopefuls 2026
Q: Are there any UDFAs who stood out in OTAs and mini camp?
Ken surveys seven UDFA prospects across positions, weighing their size, athletic traits, film background, and how they might contribute in blocking, pass protection, or special teams, along with the likelihood of elevation or making the 53-man roster.
Giants Fan Perspective
Q: How might Harbaugh's style affect the Giants' roster moves and draft strategy?
He is likely to push for bigger, more athletic linemen and a running-game emphasis, while working closely with the GM to ensure the personnel fit the coaching staff's schemes, potentially leading to a durable, methodical rebuild.
Giants Fan Perspective
Q: Why do you think the Giants went to Baltimore to recruit Harbaugh?
Because they were motivated to secure a proven winner with a strong, historical connection to building championship teams, and they believed Harbaugh could transform the franchise quickly by aligning coaching decisions with a modern, program-wide approach.
Measuring Interactions
Q: Why is adjusted plus-minus problematic in football compared to basketball or hockey?
Because football has far more variability in lineups, game conditions, and tactical roles; the same five players are often on the field together, making it hard to derive reliable, non-collinear estimates from small samples.
