  • Shout out from Montgomery Blair

I am old enough to remember when the Colts left town, and have been a diehard ravens fan since ‘96. The Banner’s coverage, and this pod in particular, is second to none. Insightful, witty, data informed, and timely, I look forward to your podcasts all the time. As principal of Montgomery Blair, special shout out to Jonas. Once a Blazer, always a Blazer!

  • Not great

Professional and good information overall but can be incredibly frustrating to listen to. Both Paul and Jonas both tend to take a negative spin on every thing. Jonas also comes across as snooty with a vocabulary like his favorite book to read is a thesaurus and his sardonic tone with everything. Not sure why we’re trying so hard to sound like an intellectual when it’s a podcast about football. Would be better if either of the guys sounded like they actually enjoyed covering this team or football... more

  • Love the content

I’ve been listening to this broadcast for a couple years now and thoroughly enjoy it. The only reason for a 4 star review and not 5 is your addition of Giana Han. She is difficult to listen to, her audio is of a lower quality than the rest of you and her constant nervous chuckling/laugh is very annoying. I’m not sure I can continue to enjoy your content if she remains. Sarah Ellison is much more enjoyable and knowledgeable on another podcast if Giana continues.

  • Obviously the Best Ravens Podcast

Paul and Jonas are the perfect pairing. Always great analysis, great banter, and no agenda unlike some of the other Ravens podcasts. I wouldn’t expect anything less from professional journalists. Great job, lads. Keep the great content coming!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Scouting Kenyon Sadiq and other tight end draft prospects
Q: What is the optimal usage for a tight end in 2026 according to the guest?
Toscano suggests aiming for a tight end who can be a versatile blocker and receiver, much like a modern all-around TE, potentially using him in 12 personnel and in play-action schemes to maximize containing the defense and aiding the quarterback run game.
Breaking down the top center, guard and tackle prospects
Q: What is the outlook for centers in the 2026 class for the Ravens at pick 14 or in a back-rotation scenario?
Centers are viewed as dart-throw options in this cycle; none are seen as first-round locks, so the Ravens may target day-two centers or consider guards who can move to center, depending on how the board falls.
Breaking down the top center, guard and tackle prospects
Q: How might Duane Ledford's involvement influence Baltimore's draft targets?
Ledford's background in outside zone schemes suggests the Ravens will favor athletic linemen who can move laterally, potentially prioritizing versatile interior/edge players who fit a zone scheme.
Breaking down the top center, guard and tackle prospects
Q: Where does Vega Yohane stack up among interior offensive linemen and guards in this class?
He is positioned as the top guard in the class, with strong lateral movement and run-blocking ability, and he ranks high in overall O-line rankings, though the best player in the class isn't declared a clear cut top guard over tackles.
3 candidates get second interviews as Ravens' search rolls on
Q: Which coaching position do you think is more attractive to potential candidates, Ravens or Bills?
The Ravens job appears slightly more attractive due to strong organization and roster construction.
