  • Still a Great show!

This podcast from 1Password has a lot of great security news and tips. I especially like the new help session and the talk about estate planning was a good reminder for probably almost everybody. I’ve learned a lot from this podcast!

Per your request: I did have to search to remember how to leave a review - and found my old review (that you read on the show) Steps:

1 Go to the Apple Podcast app on any device (even if you don’t use that player or device for typical listening)

  • My review on how to review! Plus a correction!

There are 2 ways to leave a review in Apple Podcast. The most direct way to do so is to find and select the show via the “Shows” or “Recently Updated” and then scroll down the list of episodes until you see “Ratings & Reviews” (it is below the list and pictures of the hosts).

The more roundabout way to do so is to select the episode of the show you want, then find the upper right hand corner of your screen which has 3 dots. Select that, and then select “Go to Show.” Now scroll all the way dow... more

  • Extraterrestrial Noise or Horse Shenanigans???

I have been a listener of Random But Memorable for a number of years and have enjoyed the show immensely.

This season’s episodes are no different. There is a new game at the end with a great jingle… but after the jingle is finished and they start their game, the listeners are treated with something almost extraterrestrial. It sounds like a horse playing/neighing in Tin Pan Alley style. It’s eerie and it seems to be coming from Matt’s mic. Is this on purpose, or is it a conspiracy???

  • Great show

It’s amazing to get a podcast with all those information about general security without getting all the product placement.

Also love those episodes on the tips of using 1Password

Cybersecurity tips for the modern traveler with Gerald Auger
Q: How does 1Password Travel Mode help protect travelers?
Travel Mode temporarily removes not-safe-for-travel data from devices, reduces what a passerby could access, and can be toggled on/off by admins for teams, easing travel on both personal and business trips.
Cybersecurity tips for the modern traveler with Gerald Auger

What to do if you’ve been hacked (with Glenn Wilkinson)
Q: What are the first steps a person should take in the immediate aftermath of a hack to minimize damage?
Treat it seriously but remain calm; contain the spread by isolating affected devices, preserve evidence for investigation, assess the scope (local vs cloud, devices vs accounts), and communicate with internal stakeholders and customers using prepared playbooks and templates.
What to do if you’ve been hacked (with Glenn Wilkinson)
Q: Can you talk about some of the most common indicators that a person can look for to know if they've been hacked?
