This podcast is mostly great, well balanced and listenable. However, it focuses heavily on motherhood/ caring roles, and seems to say that if you didn’t have children or parents to care for, perimenopause would somehow be easier to handle, which is of course completely untrue. Great for most mothers/ carers out there, but once again childfree women remain somewhat unseen.
At 41 I thought I was losing my mind. If any women can be spared by having the knowledge…LISTEN to this podcast. After today’s latest ep (8/9/25) I feel conviction and strength in my life decisions 💚🙂
I’ve been going through “the peri/pause” for probably 15 years. It all came to a head after more was put on my very full ND plate when I just couldn’t see any value of me being on the planet anymore. Whilst I have a great core medical team, a lot of my issues were being caused by my lack of hormones. It wasn’t until Em started discussing this on her regular pod (Emsolation go check it out) that I realised what was going on and started HRT. This podcast has really changed my life for the better a... more
Never felt so seen, heard, validated and supported. After 3 yrs trying to be heard, I’m finally 3 months in on HRT and feeling alive & me again, so knowing the next generation has this information, research, experts and real life experiences is wonderful & such a game changer. I’ve shared pod with family, friends, colleagues, kids, husband and parents and will not shut up about it!! Ive laughed, cried, nodded and punched the air “YES EM” while listening on my rage walks. Love love love
Thank you to Em and all the team and to all the experts who spoke. At times this episode was hard to listen to without crying. The validation and rawness of the experiences of women shine through and the unfairness of how these experiences have been sidelined is nothing short of rage inducing. I recommend this episode and show to everyone, I haven’t heard better. Thank you
