Without doubt in my head this was Queens worst album other than Flash Gordon …. But after listening and enjoying all the incredible insights given I have heard things in the album that I have never heard before. And now I love Cool Cat, and Dancer and all the songs like I never did before. A tremendous podcast and I am looking forward to listening to more reviews. Well done !
I used to love the old Queen podcast and thought it had sadly been laid to rest. So, I was delighted to stumble upon this reincarnation which, if anything, is even better. No disrespect to the old team but this new condensed version works even better IMO. I do miss John and Simon but As long as Ro is here, then all is well with the pod. So, yes, Ive listened to all the episodes and am gagging for the rest. Big fan of Innuendo and the unfairly maligned but beautiful Made In Heaven, so can’t wait... more
I was so disappointed when the Queenpod ended without finishing the journey through Queen’s albums. But Radio Pod Pod took up the mantle and ran with it!! More importantly, that feeling of a conversation among fans so endearing is back!
This takes up the story from where Queenpod left off and came to an end. A great listen; three Queen fans chatting through all the tracks on all the albums from Hot Space onwards. Hugely enjoyable and informative.
I know that I am writing a review for a podcast which hasn't released a full episode yet, but I have faith in everyone involved and besides, it's people from a Queen Fan Facebook group and listeners and hosts of the original Queen Pod, which this podcast is carrying on from. I believe that this will be great for listeners of the old cast and I encourage newbies to check out the old, in order tocatch up with the new.
