Found this podcast a couple weeks ago and I am really enjoying listening to Joe and Anea’s experiences. They choose really unique topics to talk about the good the bad AND the ugly but it’s discussed from a very realistic and forgiving perspective. As a new parent I feel a lot of pressure to do everything right and to be a completely perfect parent and this podcast really receives a lot of that pressure for me. This podcast is a lot more like hanging out with some friends and having a friendly c... more
Hi I love that you are not a couple and both female and male, it’s great I came across your podcast a few months ago and share as often as possible.
Thank you!

I’m a bit of a podcast junkie and have been Loki h for a podcast about parenting & children.
Your podcast on Big Emotions in front of little minds...may be the most impactful podcast I’ve ever listened to. I’ve listened to it three times in a row.
Very grateful for podcast and I’m very excited to continue listening.
Very helpful, serious topics with concrete advice and a little humor. I also highly recommend Anea Bogue's book, 9 Ways We're Screwing Up Our Girls and How We Can Stop: A Guide to Helping Girls Reach Their Highest Potential. A great resource!
This is my favorite parenting podcast! I miss you guys!! 😫
How come there are no new podcasts? It’s been months! What happened? Are you guys ok? Is the show cancelled?
Get to the show already! And Joe curb your enthusiasm a little bit- his is not a radio.😃
I love this show. The listener can tell that the two hosts work well together, with one explaining the science part, and the other translating that into real world analogies. I believe he also considers that the reason he‘s on the show. 😂
I‘m looking forward every week for the next show.
Love listening to this podcast but I do agree with another review in that Joe... you interrupt a lot! And you do ramble on and it takes away from the information that Anea is trying to provide. It’s like she takes a step forward in the conversation and Joe, you take it back two. She has a lot of patience. She has a lot of great points, but at some point I, personally get frustrated and want Joe to stop interrupting and get to the point. One example turns to three and Anea is always saying “yup”,... more
I originally gave this podcast 5 stars and a rave review (I mentioned in the old review that my son was 2 months old; he’s now 1.5 years old), but I can hardly listen now. There’s so much interrupting from Joe and long examples that fail to illustrate Anea’s actual “point” because he didn’t finish letting her make it! This happens often. I’m saddened by how often Anea is cut off, since she’s the one that offers the most valuable input. This isn’t to say that Joe offers no value. He does illustra... more
This is a great podcast! I tell all my friends to listen. Some great real life tips on how to parent better, or how to be a better partner. Realistic and worth a listen! Plus we live in Santa Cruz and I love that Joe is a local!!
Love this podcast ! On days that I feel I need help with my parenting skills and my mind is spinning out with the do’s and don’ts. Joe and Anea help me hit my reset button with parenting skills by offering new perspectives and different ways to approach parenting challenges.
It’s the best, not perfect. Which maybe why it’s the best. So realistic, so applicable, informative yet entertaining!
My wife and I are expecting a new little one and have been listening almost non-stop to this podcast. Each episode is great and provides so many learning opportunities, suggestions and advice on being a rad parent.
I never write reviews, but I had to write one for Rad Parenting. Joe and Anea have a fantastic outlook on parenting, and they provide rock solid advice to help you become a better parent. Their advice is practical, easy to implement, and effective! I love that they are both genuine and open about their own parenting challenges, usually in a humorous way, which makes you realize no parent is perfect. Joe always makes me laugh and Anea honestly provides the most well articulated, clear advice I ha... more
