On point Rabbi Hirsch. Your words captured what
we’re all feeling after October 7th. Thank you.
Rabbi Ami was our Rabbi when we were part of the congregation when we lived in NY. He helped teach and inspire my children at school and captivated us with his inspiring sermons at services. Now that we have moved away I am so happy for this podcast so I can still feel a part of congregation, still be motivated and moved by his words and still share his words and wisdom with my children. Thank you Rabbi and SWFS
Definitely worth listening to. Very smart and often quite funny.
I love getting these sermons in iTunes both in audio and video formats. Not only is the quality of the recording fantastic, but I also love the content of the sermons and the way they are delivered. Top scores for this high-tech synagogue. FANTASTIC!

These sermons blend deep Jewish scholarship with timely commentary on politics, history, and global affairs. Across episodes, the host explores leadership, freedom, Zionism, anti-Semitism, and Jewish values, often tying biblical narratives to contemporary events to encourage civic engagement and moral responsibility. The format tends to be long-form, editorial in tone, and rich with historical allusion, making it appealing to listeners who want thoughtful, principled guidance grounded in Jewish tradition while staying engaged with current affairs. A standout aspect is the seamless integration of liturgy, ethics, and public discourse, plus a consistent emphasis on liberty, justice, and communal resilience.
