I love this podcast so much. Ayesha is a wonderful host and you really feel like you’re hanging out with her and the incredible guests she talks with. Hearing women of color tell about their journeys, experiences and relationships with cycling is more of what we need in this sport/hobby. Representation matters! Thank you Ayesha for your work and looking forward to following your professional career.
It’s been great to find another woman to add to my podcast rotation. Ayesha’s ability to make the person that she in interviewing feel comfortable and open is a skill that not a lot of interviewers have.
This is a wonderful podcast. I've been seeking out more women's voices in regards to all things cycling, and this one has the added bonus of being all women of color. Their viewpoints and experiences have all been extremely varied so far, and I look forward to following Ayesha McGowan's work now!
Ayesha may not be a professional interviewer, but instead the episodes have the feel of two people having an interesting conversation.
This podcast is like meeting new friends and spending time with them talking about bikes. It’s intimidating to start cycling as a woman and I can only imagine even more so as a woman of color and this podcast inspires and entertains while confirming you are on the right track since many have been there before. I hope new episodes come up soon since I binged and was left wanting more!!
As a white later middle age male cyclist I know I am not the intended audience for the podcast but I am so pleased to listen to them. Their gentle strength is their power along with the range and quality of the stories uncovered. Come back to the UK as soon as you can.
