Grant’s style and presentation is captivating and has become a staple in my war gaming podcasts
Excellent show, brought back lots of happy nostalgia for Richthofen War, and Ace of Aces. Thanks for the lead on Eagles in the Sky. I appreciate your efforts to inform and entertain old war gamers like me.
Grant does an amazing job with his interviews. He’s very knowledgeable and interesting. I only wish there were more episodes!
Pushing Cardboard is a fun, low key podcast to listen to Grant talk about what he’s playing, and his likes and dislikes. Not as in depth as some, and the time investment doesn’t seem overly long. I really appreciate that the shows stay focused, and don’t fall into long sections of rambling and bro talk.
Podcast host Grant plays larger/longer wargames than I do, but in other ways we’ve got much in common. His love for cardboard & hexmaps comes through, and so does his prolific PBEMing via Vassal. Shows are to-the-point, which everyone can appreciate.
