PMHNP student here, this has been my saving grace on my hour drive to and from my clinical site.
I’ve listened to many psych podcasts over the years during my work as a PMHNP and this one is my favorite. I know the medication specific episodes get the most attention but I find the real strength here is when they discuss therapeutic approaches, theories, etc. (the episode where Greg discusses ADHD theories including internal and external locus of control, the burnout episode, diagnostic interviewing episode, etc). Thank you for providing this podcast!
I love listening to this podcast on my commute to work. It reinforces a lot of what I'm seeing in my clinical rotations and adds scenarios that help me remember drugs. I hope you keep making it I love your teaching!
the changes made the two speakers sound more balanced in terms of clarity and volume
Love this unbiased podcast. Great rapport between the two hosts. Love the simulations with actual patients. Great info for a new grad PMHNP
