Reviews

4.5 out of 5 stars from 36 ratings
  • Absolutely terrible audio

Let me start by saying I love PWI. Read it in my childhood and still pick up the occasional issue today. Podcast content and discussion is great; What kills me is the absolutely atrocious audio (taking off 2 stars for how bad it is). I had enough and decided to write this review after a recent one where they interviewed PCO. Couldn’t hear most of the interview with my headphones on and the volume at 100%. Had to listen in my Car with both the phone and car volume at 100% (and even then there were... more

Ep. 277: Dos Americanos En Mexico (w/ Alfonso Lopez)
Q: Alfonso, what do you think about Chad Gable's job in the ring and his AAA run overall?
Alfonso praises Gable as one of the top performers in Mexico for his consistency and skill, highlighting how he elevates the AAA shows and raises the bar for international talent, while warning that not every WWE star will meet that standard when brought to AAA audiences.
Ep. 277: Dos Americanos En Mexico (w/ Alfonso Lopez)
Q: Alfonso, how real is the love for the Grande Americano in Mexico, and has this wave been brewing for a while?
Alfonso explains that Mexican fans embraced Grande Americano not as mockery but as a shared celebration of lucha culture, with increasing excitement as Kaiser embraced authentic Mexican elements, including language and dating life portrayed in the storyline. He notes the reception built gradually as WWE production amplified the character, while fans felt included rather than mocked.
Ep. 275: Commercial-Free WrestleMania Review (w/ Jason McVeigh)
