  • If You Get It…

I love professional wrestling, but I despise sports entertainment. I have tried watching it again multiple times when I feel nostalgic for a bygone era of innocently, staged violence. I quickly am reminded that I despise what it has become. The perfect bridge between making what professional wrestling was never forgotten and making what it has become palatable is Jim Cornette and Brian Last. Thank you for all that you do.

  • Too many adds

I love Jim. Been a fan for 30 years. Problem is the inserted adds are becoming unbearable. They interrupt him in the middle of a sentence. They happen five to six times PER SHOW. Lately there have also been five minutes of adds to skip before the show even starts. On top of all that, he’s reading four or five LIVE READ adds during the show. Then he’s hocking every piece of junk he can sell every show. All while bragging about being a millionaire.

My last straw is he is going to a breeder to ge... more

Q: What are your thoughts on the WWE pay-per-view lineup and the way they booked the main event?
The hosts think the main event was strong and well-paced, with exciting action and believable near-finishes, though they critique some backstage segments and crowd engagement, arguing the show relied on a single standout match rather than a deeper, consistent card.
Episode 452

The hosts critique the lack of urgency and the missed opportunities to create a compelling feud, suggesting more direct, high-stakes storytelling and better payoff moments to maximize audience engagement.
Episode 451
Q: If Jim was to start a new wrestling company, who would he hire behind the scenes in which roles to make it work?
Jim discusses the need for trusted veterans and mind for wrestling, naming Delirious, Rip Rogers, Tom Prichard, and RIP as potential behind-the-scenes pillars, plus the importance of production, referees, and trainers, with a caveat that hiring would depend on the planned product and budget.
Episode 441
Q: Is there a time when a wrestler hit a bad streak of botches or 'yips' in consecutive matches?
They explain that in the pre-tape era mistakes were less scrutinized, but modern TV and social media make botches more noticeable; Tiffany Stratton's recent botches are cited as a modern example, with discussion on how experience and practice influence consistency.
Episode 441
Q: Who are the best examples of wrestlers you think have million-dollar bodies and two-cent brains?
The hosts discuss historical examples like Hulk Hogan and the Road Warriors, noting that many stars looked the part yet sometimes lacked wrestling psychology or in-ring versatility, while highlighting Hogan's evolution into a top star who could carry major angles.
