Currently in grad school to become a therapist. Listening to this podcast really bums me out. There’s excessive complaining about pay in every episode. Most of my friends who are working Therapists are doing quite well financially and I have to remind myself that after listening to this podcast. I suppose every job people complain about their pay … but it is my understanding the host currently only sees clients one day a week? Anyway, there could definitely be more positive content.
I’m currently in grad school to become a therapist and this podcast has been super informative and delivers information in a very digestible way. I listen and feel less overwhelmed every time! Thanks
I really appreciate Dr. Marie Fang’s thoughtful, value- driven and encouraging style as she discussed these important and often nuanced challenges therapists face. I see her as one of my mentors that really guided me to reflect on the values, philosophy and style I want to embody as a therapist and as a human. She’s amazing! Thank you for creating so many helpful and invaluable videos and resources for therapists. My heartfelt gratitude to you.
