  • Season 3

I love prison break and I’m a huge fan of SWC. I wish they’d delve deeper into the episode and character arcs more in season 3 more. I know both Paul and Sarah weren’t on set but I’d love their perspective on Michael being haunted by Sara’s death.

  • Highly recommended for all PrisonBreak fans / nostalgics

Great podcast, connecting (old and new) PrisonBreak fans with two beloved characters from the series. Sarah and Paul are doing a great job sharing behind the scenes, their personal insights and memories, and sometimes amazing guests (William F / Mahone, Paul T Scheuring, the writer/creator of this TV classic, Stacey Keach / the Warden etc). It makes me rewatch the show through a new lens and my morning work commute very enjoyable. Check it out and you won’t regret!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S4E1: “Scylla” | Sara Tancredi’s return to Prison Break | Sara’s Passionate Fans | Michael Rappaport
Q: For episodes 313 and 401, would Michael have killed Gretchen in 401 if she hadn't told him that Sara was still alive?
Yes, the consensus is that Michael would have likely pulled the trigger if Gretchen had confronted him face-to-face, given his rage, heartbreak, and his willingness to do whatever it takes for Sara, even in a fight against overwhelming odds.
S4E1: “Scylla” | Sara Tancredi’s return to Prison Break | Sara’s Passionate Fans | Michael Rappaport
Q: We know scenes often aren't filmed in order. When you come back to season four, what was it like shooting the reunion scene? Was it one of the first scenes you filmed?
They shot the reunion in a location that aligned with the safe-house vibe, with reshoots for emotion and a rewrite of a line to heighten authenticity, and it was handled with a careful balance of pressure, nostalgia, and the reality of returning after a long break.
S3E13: “The Art Of The Deal” | The Company | T-Bag Loyalty | McGrady Homecoming | Seasons 1&2 v 3&4
Q: Is Kellerman still a reliable anchor for the audience as his loyalties waver, or has the machine behind the conspiracy overtaken him in the narrative?
They acknowledge Kellerman's evolution as a humanized antagonist who became more fascinating as a person, but the larger conspiracy often supersedes his individual arc, making him momentarily compelling yet ultimately part of a broader, impersonal machine.
S3E13: “The Art Of The Deal” | The Company | T-Bag Loyalty | McGrady Homecoming | Seasons 1&2 v 3&4
Q: If Sara had come back from the dead seven years later, how might that affect Michael and Sara's relationship and their path back to each other?
The hosts suggest it would depend heavily on where she had been and whether she escaped Gretchen or remained in captivity; seven years would drastically alter dynamics and healing, and they lean toward the idea that they would still reconnect but with new emotional scars and a different shared history.
S3E10: “Dirt Nap” | Writer Seth Hoffman | PB Writers’ Room Exposed | PB Season 6: "Escape From Hell"
Q: What was it like bringing in Bill Fichtner as Mahone and other casting decisions that shaped the season?
Casting Mahone was a turning point; we saw early on that he could anchor the new tone, and the process involved close collaboration between writers and production to ensure the performance aligned with the evolving story and visual language of Season 3.
