  • Season 3

I love prison break and I’m a huge fan of SWC. I wish they’d delve deeper into the episode and character arcs more in season 3 more. I know both Paul and Sarah weren’t on set but I’d love their perspective on Michael being haunted by Sara’s death.

  • Highly recommended for all PrisonBreak fans / nostalgics

Great podcast, connecting (old and new) PrisonBreak fans with two beloved characters from the series. Sarah and Paul are doing a great job sharing behind the scenes, their personal insights and memories, and sometimes amazing guests (William F / Mahone, Paul T Scheuring, the writer/creator of this TV classic, Stacey Keach / the Warden etc). It makes me rewatch the show through a new lens and my morning work commute very enjoyable. Check it out and you won’t regret!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S4E13: “Deal Or No Deal” | How This Episode Breaks All of Prison Break’s Rules | Guest Michael O’Neill: Creating Herb Stanton
Q: How did you approach joining a show with such a strong ensemble when you came on as a guest star?
I focused on earning the space in the room, building trust with the core cast, and bringing a gravity to the role that would feel earned and authentic within the existing dynamics.
S4E12: The Stealing of Scylla, Don Self's Betrayal & More Prison Break Reversals + Guest Stacy Haiduk
Q: Does your character, Lisa Tabak, have any similarities with your current character, Kristen Demira?
Stacy Haiduk explains that while Lisa and Kristen come from different shows, both characters are fighters who push back against daddy's expectations and strive to be seen for who they are, not just as their father's or family's legacy.
S4E8: “The Price” | PTSD and Torture Tropes | Sara and Michael | Roland’s Death
Q: Sarah, how did you go about playing someone who has obvious PTSD? What time of research did you do?
Sara describes drawing from real veterans in her life to inform the portrayal, emphasizing dissociation and the need for professional detachment in trauma scenes, while noting that PTSD reactions vary by person and context, and that small, precise behavior choices can convey authenticity.
S4E2: “Breaking and Entering” | Guest James Hiroyuki Liao (Roland Glenn) | T-Bag & Cannibalism
Q: How many episodes did you end up in, and where did you live during production?
I ended up in seven episodes (with eight used in footage credit), and I lived in Los Angeles, originally from New York.
S4E2: “Breaking and Entering” | Guest James Hiroyuki Liao (Roland Glenn) | T-Bag & Cannibalism
Q: James, what do you remember about when you auditioned?
All I had was the audition material; I moved to LA, and there was a long producer session where he was read with me, which led to the casting decision and ultimately the role.
