  • Wonderful, dreamy podcast

Emily does such an amazing job at bringing out the magic and dreamy wonder of just simply loving vintage clothing. She is so sweet and enthusiastic, while still creating a chill and relaxed vibe. It’s my favorite listen after a long day, it’s hard to find a podcast that’s the exact mix of interesting/fun/not-stressful I’m looking for. This is it!!

  • Best Vintage Podcast

I love Emily’s Pre-Loved podcast. I listen to it while I am prepping my vintage clothes for the flea market. I have learned so much and discovered so many new vintage vendors. I love how speakers feel very comfortable talking with Emily as if she is an old friend. Emily walks us through the speakers start, to how they made it happen, things learned along the way, their favorite garment, favorite vendors and what they are working now. How to Market Your Vintage Brand Without Burning Out This Summer
Q: What does a realistic posting schedule look like for a solopreneur in the summer season?
A realistic schedule emphasizes consistency and testing rather than daily perfection. Start with a minimum viable content plan—carousels, FaceTime-style videos, and daily Instagram stories—while ensuring content is quick to produce and repeatable. Use pre-shot B-roll from markets, repurpose existing photos, and keep a steady cadence rather than trying to post every single day. If taking breaks, plan intentional pauses with light content to ease back into posting later.
S10 Ep14 LADIES OF THE LOON: Lexis Zenobia is a dealer specializing in vintage mohair – on cinematic storytelling for this one-of-a-kind archival collection found at a mansion in the woods.
Q: Before we wrap, what advice would you give to someone thinking about starting their own vintage brand today?
Her guidance centers on courage and authenticity: be yourself, seek data and advice from experienced peers, and be willing to make hard choices, including focusing energy on a singular vision and building the brand slowly with attention to detail rather than bulk output.
S10 Ep14 LADIES OF THE LOON: Lexis Zenobia is a dealer specializing in vintage mohair – on cinematic storytelling for this one-of-a-kind archival collection found at a mansion in the woods.
Q: I would love if you could introduce yourself to the listeners and tell a little bit about what you do.
Lexis Zenobia explains she is a full-time artist and owner of Ladies of the Loon, a vintage dealer focused on archiving mohair and related pieces, with a long history in photography and fashion. She emphasizes how she builds stories around each piece and her shift from broad vintage sales to a highly specialized mohair archive.
